OK, OK I will post on LJ
I have nothing to say.
There is too much today.
Which rhymes with hay.
Which is something I don't eat, hooray!

I specifically decided to do this right now because of several articles I've read lately that explain why it's bad for one's career to post a personal blog. My New Years resolutions are all about doing inspired things that have been said to be bad.

1: Drink lots and lots of coffee (inspired by Seattle)
2: Drink wine frequently, but moderately (inspired by medical research)
3: Blog (inspired by imtboo)
4: Learn to play drums (inspired by blackwingedboy)

OK, that last one isn't known to be bad for you but everyone knows the drummers are the bad boys in the band.

I wanna be bad in '07. You know, like ba dass bad.

Blog is an ugly word, isn't it? It reads like the sound of something dropping out of one's bottom. That is what I am doing. What you are doing (and what bloackwingedboy does when he does it) is artful journaling. It's inspirational, and not imitatable.

Hey, I am responsible in part for 2 of the 4 bad things!

I'd say partially 3 of the 4, but my attempts to get you to blog over the last 10 years have largely failed. Thank the gods for the mighty Boo!

I'm trying to write tersely and regularly but too many words keep ending up on the screen. Here is how my prototype blogs went:

[begin blog]
Hi.

Toast.
[end blog]

I think that says just as much, and it takes up so much less time and storage space on the internets.
